1. Set VERY Specific, Targeted, Achievable, Motivating GoalsAsk yourself the following: What exactly do I want to achieve with my routine? Have a body that looks like a swimsuit model? Look like an old high school photo? Be able to run a marathon in under five hours? Lose weight? Feel better? Walk longer? Run 5 miles? Once you have that goal in place, you need to figure out if it is achievable. Can you look like a swimsuit model? Possible? Then fine. Will you be able to run 26 miles in less than five hours? Maybe not. Or it might take several years to get to that point. Make sure your goals are “doable” within the time frame you’ve allotted.
