The look immediately drew comparisons to Lil’ Kim’s iconic 1999 MTV Video Music Award outfit, which controversially boasted virtually an identical, and exposing, design. We all know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, however Lil’ Kim was reportedly not happy about Nicki stealing her look.
