Rare Chinese brass tray table with scrolled gallery and stylised dragon legs. The heavy and solid tray top is engraved with a scene portraying a elders and children in a garden setting surrounded by intricate chased and floral borders. Take a moment to look at the width of the edges of the tray. This is a quality piece supported on a wooden folding frame. The brass has attained a wonderful warm golden colour.
The fold-up base has 6 gracefully dragon shaped legs that are carved and reticulated.
A good size, also a useful piece - side table, plant stand or stand alone table that will compliment either traditional or modern settings.
