The LB417K shown here sits right in the middle of the black beauty line up, The 'K' stands for Hammered shell, that Hammering helps to dry up the unwanted high overtones and better focus the midrange tone. These drums are lots of fun to play and incredibly quick and easy to get a top flight sound out off, the hammering also gives the drum a really great look. The LB417K has a 14 x 6.5 beaded brass shell, imperial lugs and the new P88AC Throw Off.
