I've asked several vintage forums what they would classify this glorious piece (and it's sister in white). and we can't decide on girdle, panties, garter panties, or general "shapewear". I've picked "shaper panties" as a happy medium. They are a truly unique lingerie time capsule- they just don't make 'em like this anymore! Made by Caressable [sic] Bra by Empire Foundations, the full lace panties have a strong lycra girdle-like, wide waistband that will definitely hold you in. The panties are not stretchy, but made of sheer nylon lace with elastic at the leg openings giving them a bit of "bloomers" flavor. There are two adjustable elastic garters on each leg with a leather and plastic button closure. They're labeled a size 24" waist, but please go by the measurements below for best fit. They're in fantastic condition, with no issues that I can see- they look like they came straight out of the box! Waist: 21” unstretched - 36" fully stretched by hand” Hips: 26"-32" Leg Opening: 10"-26" Side Length: 10"
